ECCT restructured and assembled a 10 + 20 container, with the 10 container serving as climatic airlock. In this high-technology container, atmosphere scientists research the chemical transformation processes in the troposphere and stratosphere.
- Walling with reinforced creased sheets and PUR foam. The insulation has a k factor of under 0.3 W/mēK
- Built-in freezing room doors and low-temperature windows
- Shelving system with a high loading capacity

- 10 container as climatic airlock with connecting locks, melt-water proof
- Because of the extreme weather conditions, a special conservation and corrosion prevention process was applied
